Robots? Did you say Robots?
Nutmeg Consulting is proud to sponsor the “Technowizards” , a group of dedicated, young engineers of the future from Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, CT. They are competing in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition , which pits teams across the nation to design, build and compete against each other based on a pre-determined set of rules.
The team is comprised of students who are responsible for the design, implementation and project management, of the robot along with adult mentors to help guide them along during the consolidated build process. Each year, the FIRST program issues a new challenge to schools across the country, gives them a set of tools and general guidelines to follow. The teams then go off for 6 weeks, create their projects and sign up for various competitions. This year, the “Technowizards” will be competing at:

Virginia Regional - March 18th - 20th at Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA
Connecticut Regional - April 1st - 3rd at the Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, CT
